The role of bearings

The bearing is a part that supports the shaft and has the purpose of rotating the guide shaft or receiving the free running parts on the shaft. The bearing can be divided into rolling bearing and sliding bearing. In general, the bearing refers to the rolling bearing.

The rolling bearing is generally composed of an inner ring, an outer ring, rolling elements and a cage. The inner ring cooperates with the shaft and rotates together with the shaft. The outer ring functions with the bearing seat to support the rolling element. With the help of the cage, the rolling elements are distributed between the inner ring and the outer ring. The shape and quantity of the rolling elements directly affect the performance and life of the rolling bearing. The cage can evenly distribute the rolling elements, preventing the rolling elements from coming off and guiding the rolling. Body rotation acts as a lubricant.
